However, I have not really had much to say about this gal's world trip 'til now. It's my opinion it was misbegotten to begin with, over capitalized, over equipped, and yet lacking in safety for a kid that age. Her lack of skills for a globe circling record setter in terms of being self sufficient are/were glaring and clearly her luck ran out. The religious rationalizations about her safety and the blessing of her trip from her family and supporters have indeed put me over the top. All is well 'til the shit hits the fan, then it's out of God's hands and just an accident. As any of the posters here voice their opinions so do I. Agree or disagree, it's your privilege, Dan.
