on the big hole almost looked like butt joints. Don't get me wrong, I've bought basket case boats and fixed them up before. I certainly don't begrudge anyone who enjoys fixing up boats. I've actually done a lot more of that then cruising. However, my concern is that the damage to this boat was so severe that he will quickly have more in it than he could have bought the same boat that needed just cosmetics and the boat would be structurally sound. I don't want to be in the ocean in a boat I have ANY doubts about when it gets nasty.
