I gave $165. each for these, including shipping, from two different individuals on ebay. Haven't checked prices in a couple of years. But, you are right they are expensive, yet, for me their advantages far out weigh their initial cost. They have virtually no gas emissions , no maint. required, and their longevity is exemplary.
