James Murphy was very nice to us when we bought his Tartan 27' and spent an entire day with my going over the systems and rigging on the boat, lessons that would later sink in. He also had an Irwin 32' that he had recently purchased (2003) so was eager to sell his older family owned boat.
I've heard from other sources about the wind storm or tornado that blew through the Springs. There was a small tornado (EF1) that touched down in the Bronx last Sunday too. This summers weather has been dangerous at times.
