... going to replace my Zantrex TrueCharge 40A charger and Prosine 1000A Inverter with one unit. Both have worked perfectly for 6-7 years or so, I want one unit and I need more umph, more charging capacity, I'll eliminate 30 feet or so of battery cable and I'm redistributing weight are my reasons. I'll go with a new 100A / 2000 Watt Inverter. The Zantrex Freedom looks to be a little under $1000, the Charles $3000. Why is Charles so much more money, is it worth the added cost in the long run ? My previous Zantrex have worked fine for some time ...
