the problem I have with Nantucket is this: I was there anchored in early June of last year. The next day my wife and I went for a bike ride. It was the most beautiful day - blue sky 75 degrees, light wind, no fog. 95%, maybe 100% of the houses were vacant. It made me think how piggishly affluent we all are, that a place like this, one of the nicest places on earth, can only be afforded by the rich, who don't live there. I know, I know, there is a working class there also, but they don't live in the nice houses or on the waterfront. They have to import student Eastern European students to do the massah's bidding. Also, $60 for a mooring is waterway robbery - I mean wtf - I'd dive a mooring each year and check it for $50.
