The Garmin GPSMap 440, though, doesn't support (at least that I've been able to figure out) a card with Canadian charts.
The SD slot is for Blue Chart G2 Vision - something I don't need or want. So, I'm looking for an alternative....

I'm thinking about going to N.S. next summer. I already have a lot of the paper charts for the area.
