It is 3/4" MDO plywood

All the cabinetry is done in MDO plywood. MDO = medium density overlay, which is a no voids plywood with waterproof glue and a laminated paper surface which takes paint very nicely. It may not look like plywood to you because I sealed the edges with west system epoxy then put on a coat of west thickened with 410 fairing filler on the horizontil surface. The picture below shows the port side settee and the cabinet forward of it. Both are MDO, but the cabinet has two coats of semi-gloss acrylic paint.
