that it has drivers for a Mac. I have found that the Engenius gets a little better acquisition and link maintenance for weak signals, especially if there are lots of interferors. Probably minor firmware differences, but I have used both for some time and seen that pretty consistently. Both use two USB cables for higher power, and the power specs are sometimes confused between ERP and peak power, but they are pretty similar in terms of dB gain. I actually use an Alfa at home when I need wireless, and an Engenius down on the boat because of the environment. Both work well with Windows 7, BTW. Either one is a good choice for improved wifi at a low cost. I have heard from others that the performance of the 802.11n (1000mw) Alfa is actually not quite as good as the 802.11g (500mw) version, but have not tried them side-by-side independently. Could be different firmware or antennas or just rumors.
