Given that there aren't many aluminum cruising boats in the U.S. and the Euro is high you might think about checking out the cruising areas of the world. First thought would be both the Eastern & Western Caribbean. Everywhere from St. Martin to Trinidad. From Trinidad to Cartagena and on to the Panama and the Rio Dulce River of Guatemala you'll find boats at a great price. Since many of them are from Europe you'll find aluminum boats in the mix. You'll find many boats at incredible prices that need only a little spit and varnish and they're ready to go anywhere. OK,, a bit of money also,,, but not a lot.

If I knew then what I know now I'd spend more time exploring boats where dreams fell apart.
