How the hell does an engine room fire take out the entire ship? 
I'm reminded of the Titanic.
I'm trying to understand how an engine room fire could take out all the systems on a ship almost 1,000 feet long. Every engine, every generator and every system. They sent three Coast Guard cutters, two tugs, a container ship, an HC-130 aircraft and the Ronald Regan to help it.
Oh the humanity
It doesn't make sense. But then, what the hell do I know.
