How the hell does an engine room fire take out the entire ship?
It's the engine room where all the engines and generators are.
because it only has one engine room?

But only till something takes out the power plant...
Apparently they did have some Aux power...
The one cruise ship I worked on had the back generator on the secon deck
We had a fire in a vehicle/cargo store room once...
I suspect the navy uses the more expensive oil because they have taxpayer's money
They are really just floating power plants
