The time has come to replace my sanitation hose and after diving in very briefly I realize the project will be much more painful than I had feared. (and I feared it would be bad). I have probably close to 25' feet of hose in 7 pieces or 14 joints and of course only one of the joints is easily accessible. If I can remove the sink, it will make some of them slightly easier to reach, but the sink is bedded very neatly and securely in silicone over a molded in FRP counter.
So I'm looking for any advice anyone can give me before I go off the deep end with frustration. any good tricks for breaking the old joints free and, mostly, any tricks for fitting the new hose over the nipples. My big concern with these very tight places is that I get the hose halfway on and can't get it further or take it back off.
I will be using Trident sani shield 101 sanitation hose unless someone convinces me there is something better.
Thanks
