Some growing stirs of boat building picking up in Maine.
USCG?
Whoops. Thanks Steve.
I wonder how the big boatbuilders are doing?
I'd guess "damaged beyone repair" is about right...

The lineage of the Navy 44
They still had a couple of wood Luders Yawls in 1970..
"The boats are designed to be a "floating leadership platform" that provide cadets with small craft command and control,

I'm not sure that your speculations in this regard are justified?
Then the vessel should be a 20 year old Catalina or other
I believe their goal (which they're pretty far along with), is to have $750K/boat

I always think of Morris as...
Maybe also, the thinking man's Hinckley ;^)
Morris Yachts are cheaper than Hinckleys on a per foot basis...
Expensive, sure, it's a new boat. But Morris won the bid competing against 12 boatyards choosen.
