Despite your many years living in upstate NY, I bet it was even impressive to you Dave. The winds late Sunday night must have been gusting to 60 or maybe even higher a few times. I was very surprised we didn't lose any asphalt roof shingles.... I happened to go up to the attic and could hear them flapping in the gusts. Made the house move a bit though.

My sister lost power and I made an attempt to get her and her family at the height of the storm, but even with AWD couldn't get out past the 3+ foot drift that used to be my driveway. Maybe a Hummer could have crashed through, but I don't have one of those.
