This is why I required that the tanks were put in after the boat was finished...

too many series builders install the tanks before the deck is put on. Not only is it cheating, even with the best of intentions you have really no idea if it will come out again. I made the builder install the tanks after all the cabinetry was in place. They aren't exactly "quick release", but in a few hours I could have all 8 tanks removed without cutting anything. Worst one is the forward holding tank which would require removing the saloon table mount (which bolts in).

Maybe just as important is to have features that allow some maintenance in place: like large clean out ports and sumps in the fuel tanks that allow the water and detritus to be easily removed. I am going to test that this spring when I have to clean all the water tanks.
