NWS was predicting this morning's snow would have "little or no accumulation" now they issued the following: Special Weather Statement
Statement as of 9:14 AM EST on January 26, 2011. A band of moderate to heavy snow will move across the area through 1 PM. This band will reduce visibilities to less than a half mile...with some spots falling below a quarter of a mile. Snowfall rates in this band is capable of producing a half to one inch an hour. Two to four inches of snow will be likely through 1 PM.
So that's on top of the 2+ feet already on the ground, plus the forecast for tonight is another 6-10" "with locally higher amounts possible". Did you bring this with you?
