I was running some new 2/0 battery cable to a new windlass panel location. After a couple of hours I realized I was getting agitated. The sound could drive you crazy! Not to mention, work lights become annoying, the cords, moving them around.

It occurred to me, if I didn't have the cover on, it would be nice and quiet below, plenty of natural light through the ports, and I could have started a fire to warm up the cabin.

I know, you're shrinkwrap is quieter. There's a lot to be said for it. Then again, if I hadn't been agitated, maybe I wouldn't be home now, and the 2/0 work complete?
