Could be what the windlass installer was thinking way back when he installed it with 2/0, long before I came along. So in order to extend it...

Anyway, the old windlass panel is installed in a new removable section of bulkhead. I had to make the 2/0 just long enough to allow the bulkhead to lay flat, but not too long to get near the exhaust elbow below.

It's all wired now and seems to check out. Sometimes I wonder if a windlass is worth all the effort too.
