Possibly our last sail. This photo was taken on the way from Miami to Ft. Lauderdale. As you can see we had some pretty good winds. I was surprised we could do so well given the fact that we had a reef in the main and the headsail rolled up almost half way. You can't see it in the photo but the seas were a bit lumpy or messy as we were on the edge of the gulfstream which was only about 3 miles of the coast. Gave us a 2 knot boost but the expense of seas from about 5 different directions. Ahh,,,, big boat and a lot of displacement smoothed it out a bit.

Damn,,, I'm going to miss her. We put about 25,000 miles under the keel over the past ten years. I've had a love/hate relationship with her over the years but when I see photos like this the bad parts fade away.

It was fun.
