Saw this classic house in Dana Point Ca and bought it from the bank.
Built in 1947, it's a 'Bauhaus' school of design, pre world war 2 German industrial modernistic work of art. At the beginning of the war the Nazi's closed the art school calling their stuff 'non German garbage'. A number of the architects moved to the U.S. and worked here after the war.
We're having a good time ripping out a lot of stuff in an attempt to bring her back to original.
I drive home and there are times when I wonder what we're doing with a house like this as it's just so weird. But then it's like us.
