At least as long as I've been here. Even with the southwest breeze building to over 20 knots in the afternoons, the cool seabreeze melts as soon as it grazes the coast. We'll hit mid 80's again today. Boston topped 100 yesterday, NYC, 103. Yikes!
The only cool place here is near the cool ocean water, which we'll be on soon. The hot sun will churn out 10 or 12 southwesterly knots in a few hours. The dogs are wilting, sail to windward, fast.
