As I was driving to the boat on Thursday the thermometer in the car read 39C (102F) but I went sailing anyway. After the race there was a raft up with 6 C&C 27s. We all drank lots of water, had a swim and then some beer. That seemed to help the heat. Yesterday was only 30C (86F) and it was great sailing although working on the alternator was a little warm.
