We have a nesting pair around our boat and another at work. Sometimes both Osprey parents will leave the nest, presumably to catch food for their young. I've noticed that when one Osprey catches a fish, it will make a big deal of it, flying all around the nest and chattering like crazy. I'm assuming it is the male. It will also buzz the other parent with the fish, as if to say "I caught a fi-ish, I caught a fi-ish and you didn't. Ha. Ha." The female, of course, looks the other way and ignores the male, saying "You're such a jerk."
