I had a female dog who would put a mouthful of food nuggets on the floor between her feeding bowl and our male dog's feeding bowl to "bait" him.... if he would go for it she'd attack him, teeth bared and full-on. Ripped skin resulted. We had to either crate him while she ate, or put the bowls on opposite sides of the room so we could prevent the male from getting near. (The rest of the time she was a sweetheart, and she never showed aggression toward people.)

Other times she would parade around with a prized toy or a ball in her mouth, head-up high to show what she had.
