Right arm 'visualization'
In Response To: trying to decide ()

To help you 'plan' on the wind and how it will stress your boat, etc. ... Take your RIGHT arm fully outstretched and then swing it full 'back' (about at 120° from your nose). Your index finger will point to the center of the storm and the wind will be exactly TO your nose as the storm moves along its 'projected path'. Just move/point your index finger TO the expected path and visualize 'straight out from your nose' for where the expected wind will come from as you 'point' along the exact center of movement of the expected storm track. This will/should help you to tie-off to best strengthen and secure vs. the expected wind direction.
