Sometimes my wife and I just go to Oyster Bay for an overnight. Dave I'm sure you've found The Baykery Café in town, it's a short walk from the marina -- great breakfast or brunch spot. I think you steered him right on a mooring, Dave. Jon, the anchorage in the eastern part of the harbor is not too much of a dinghy ride and if you prefer to anchor there's also a dinghy dock at Oyster Bay Marine I've used many times.
