... the diaphragm better is a better pump for this install, I've heard a few complaints about the macerator/impeller type, and experienced it first hand twice now ... they are not self-priming as advertised. Maybe I should try the SeaLand, like Richard I have seen leaking at the seal of both my Jabsco pumps ... sort of disappointing ... thanks for the suggestion. Cheers, John
