but am not too sure about the UV advantage when it comes to dacron sails. The colour can fade out quicker in some cases even if the cloth itself is OK. I love the look of tanbark sails and had a Drascombe Longboat years ago that looked great with dark sails. They did fade out. Also, there are fewer sailcloth options in tanbark.
