works good, few hassles
In Response To: local boater ()

In Florida you can enter anywhere from ~Ft. Pierce and south and when finally moored/anchored, just call the phone number on the back of the Local Boater Card, state the card ID number (correlates to all your previous info given), answer a few brief questions (if any), your lat/lon of your anchored/moored position .... thats it. No rides to the distant airport, no waiting in endless 'immigration' lines ... all the hassle is done already. Good program and the LB card is good for many years. Only hassle is you have to or should appear by appointment at an appropriate DHS office in FL (Ft. Lauderdale, etc.) for the 'set up' -- very efficient & nice folks!!!!

Dont forget to get your "DTOPS" sticker (online application), as you'll need that 'number' when reentering the country ... and also for those entry ports that arent included in the LB Option areas.

I like 'hassle free'.
