It was much better than I expected.
Yet, my feeling afterwards, is thar if that there are people like the (alleged) murderer no matter where you go. In fact, you are more likely to run up with someone like that on land. If you live in an urban area (as I do) you come into contact with many people (often thousands) every day. The sad and simple reality is that none of us can know for sure who all these people are really. Indeed, often the most vicious killers come off as being sociable and friendly. So, no matter how awful this story is, it's no reason not to go cruising or to arm yourself as if you are about to be attacked by a serial killer or by armed forces employed by a state. If anything, the moral should be the opposite: go sailing now before something nasty and unexpected happens to you.
