March 1st is opening day of fishing season in New Bedford, so much hustle on the waterfront. One small boat at the back of the pack had heard funny noises what they got the prop turniung after the winter. The diver handed his cigarette to his helper and jumped in. Found a couple of pieces of rope on the prop and shaft, along with loose jam nuts. Good to fix now! The red-hulled boats were busily getting fresh paint; the blue ones were long ready and sat quietly.
