Ahhhh,

Big prop and high torque, must be how they are getting it to be equivalent to a 3 hp gas. Better efficiency in moving power to the water.

I used a British Seagull for a long time. 2.5 HP and it would move our dink or our Nor'Sea! On the dink it would push us at the SAME speed at half throttle as full throttle! I was amazed and took a GPS along to verify it.

I sure do like the idea of it being very quiet!

Does it have a normal shear pin, or some other way of protecting the engine?
