Yup, I have a drag pointer as well, I rarely see it move, nevertheless ...

I change the filter annually. I guess I could wait until I see that needle move some toward "10" before changing the filter, but for the $8 and 10 minutes it takes, I just do it every year as part of the commissioning list. We average almost 200 hours/year. I know, that's embarrassing. One of these years we'll make it under a hundy. Cheers, John
