...Not many monohulls sneak into this spot... Wide angle lens makes it look pretty open, but this is a VERY tight spot... I was hoping to ride out a front in here, but even if I'd done a Bahamian moor, no way... the deep water channel was simply way too narrow, I almost felt like I had to back out over the bar, with less than a foot under the keel even at high water...
In settled weather, I'd stay in there with a bow and stern anchor, but certainly not for a frontal passage... VERY cool momentary gunkhole, however - the sort of place I'd kill to have a centerboarder like an Alubat, or Seguin 40, but not a spot I'd want to swing on the hook...
