I haven't "sprung" for a variable speed drive (VSD) pump. Your boat should be okay with either the 3 or 4 gallon Surflo and an accumulator tank.

If you don't go with the accumulator tank, then I'd get get a VSD. If you have an accumulator tank, then I would just replace the OLD pump with a simplier Surflo.
