really was a bash. Most of the time we had at least a 1 knot current against us and up to a 2 knot at times. The winds were always ahead of the beam and most of the time right on our nose. We motor sailed and at times the GPS indicated that we were actually going backwards. We had over 30 knots on at least different legs. Of the three times I have bashed back from Mexico, this has been by fay, the worst trip. All and all, I'm glad that this one is over. Of course the "victory at sea" Dance were were doing found every leak we had and made them worse. Brendons usually a pretty dry boat but we took some major hits and it showed up in the number of laundry loads we did yesterday. We took a couple over the pilot house and into the cockpit which has only happened on other time in the past 15 years. We had a fuel problem at the start of the trip but was able to solve that by the time we reached Mag Bay. Other then that, she ran like a top. Glad to be home!
