Hi Charlie, We waited out three days
In Response To: Steve, glad all is well... ()

in Mag Bay another at Punta San Carlos, one at Cedros and another couple in Turtle Bay. We kept getting weather reports that it was just going to get worse and stay that way. Always on the next leg. "If you don't get past this section in time, you'll be stuck for a week in a few days". We kept getting that from three different sources. one of which was a professional weather router. This is the earliest I have ever came back up and the worst. Maybe there is a correlation there that I should pay attention to? It wasn't all bad. We spent a pleasant few days in Mag Bay walking the desert. Boy, what a lot of nothing out there. We also had a great dinner at Annabell's. The fuel barge Annabell owners have expanded and now have a great little restaurant on the hill above the fuel moorings. We had a good dinner at the Corral in Ensenada but didn't stop for the night. We fueled, left the boat on the dock and took off. Another boat, a 45 footer, left Turtle Bay 20 hours after us and got to Ensenada 30 minutes behind us but did a not stop. Considering the stops we made to get out of the 30 knot stuff they only beat out time by a couple of hours. I didn't think that was bad at all. Yes, sorry we couldn't hook up again. Maybe next time.
