The Storm Prediction Center In Norman OK issued this warning at 9:51 CDT (10:51 - Eastern) http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/md/md1316.html
That was probably about the time I started looking for warnings on the local NWS page. I'm not really sure how long it was until I saw the local warnings but it was probably half an hour to 45 minutes later.
The SPC issued this one at 6:51 CDT http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/md/md1314.html
I guess I wonder why this information didn't find it's way into local forecasts more quickly. AT 8pm EDT, they were warning that it would travel East of the Appalachians that it had already had measured gusts to 80mph. I can only think that it was moving so quickly that by the time the severity of the damage became known it had already moved into the next warned area.
