This was way back before he started his present venture, a floating non-profit animal rescue. Ha! Who am I to talk!

I used Daves idea of the table hanging off the binnacle guard. I cut out the guard profile so the top slides down to the short struts that secure the binnacle to the guard.

It's simply two pieces, the brace slides inside a cleat mounted to the underside of the table top. No moving parts, easy to stow under a pilot berth.

This was a first mock up, and I suspect may serve for a long time before I finish one to replace it.
