Battery testing... any suggestions?
Try an auto parts store....
Try measuring the voltage while you crank the starter
So is NAPA and the like selling group 27 batteries?
Never mind, I see that everyone from Wallyworld to NAPA sells these.

I use as both house and starter...
There're several advantages for AGM
NOT to mention.....
We get around it with a huge house bank.
Won't matter unless you have the charging capacity
Replace.. It failed. 1volt is dead flat.
Ck out Sam's club!!
Sounds like it's already failed the load test that really matters
I thought so too, but it could be a charging issue...
A GOOD idea!
Replace battery as last resort.
Agreed...
The standing voltage doesn't mean much.
Interesting results so far...
Just switch the batteries. You'll have your answer.
Agree... the simple solution.
Take it somewhere to test, and expect to buy a new one.
Could not find a date or any other "age" markings...
WM Should Have
"The real test is after you charge it and it weakly starts or does not start your engine, well there's the answer."
A new GRP 27 deep cycle battery is under $100
Thanks for the price info...
I bought a grp 29 deep cycle last summer for $94
