ways to cook aboard. But never thought about a “thermal cooker” as a separate device. I just did a quick search on Amazon.com and saw many devices in the category. They all seem to be selling for well over US $50.00, WOW, a LOT of money for what looks like just a wide mouth thermos.
We do have 2 wide mouth stainless steel thermos bottles aboard. Each holds a quart or more. And I can guarantee the we did not spend that much on both of them! We actually use them both on and off the boat. Like putting steel cut oats and hot water (and fixings) in just before bed to have breakfast ready early AM. Or for making a meal for the night watch to be ready any time needed.
I could just never see purchasing a uni-tasker for use aboard our boat.
How about just making a very good insulating bag for the pressure cooker? Put in, heat, drop in bag, and wait? Works for us.
