It is text only, and to show it I actually have to display more "windows," thus reducing the viewable area of the main radar display. I honestly can't think of a good reason to do this.

It gives me data viewable in two locations, which is about all the benefit I would get out of it. I could leave the GPS on the chart table and swing the radar arm out to view in the cockpit, but other than that... I see no advantage.

Just wondered if anyone else knew of any good reason to do this.
