Tom,

We departed the San Francisco Bay area in 04, went down the west coats of Ca, then the west coast of the Baja, stopping at every major anchorage (NOT with the Ha-Ha) then into the Sea of Cortez, then after a few years, over to Mazatlan. NOT ONCE did we have a problem with our 8 foot PB! There were a number of times that we were able to fish/swim/dive in areas that were almost never visited by others. The all feared the sharp rocks! We just had fun...

Our boat was never messed with by any kids, or any one else. Another inflatable is hard to spot, but every PB stands out and is easy to customize. In Mexico, often it is the OB that is wanted, but the smaller the OB the LESS tempting it is to thief's.

As for storage at night, NOT A PROBLEM, even with on our Nor'Sea 27, please view our short (3 min) video on Youtube at; http://youtu.be/8IlrPW0pz0U
It's our mini Op-Eval on overnight dink storage.
