It does feel like a late night infomercial. Never thought about it like that, but it does. I looked at the boarding ladder, but don't think it would work all that well.

What I have seen is a set of dinghy dogs, but the cost was way high. One guy we spent some time with had them.

What I thought about doing was making a bridle and use 4 cylindrical fenders to make a setup like the dogs. We carry the fenders any way, and if we are at anchor using the dink, they are not needed on the main boat. Any way, just an idea now.

By the way, when we were cruising in the Sea, a lot of the people we joined on a diving trip, who had an inflatable, would anchor off the shore, we would go to shore and not worry about the rocks and get in the water that way. A couple of times I did go off and back on the PB. I did it at the back, next to the motor, not off the bow and NOT even tried off the side.
