Yup... "A. Robert Towbin, whose family name has adorned a New York investment bank for 70 years..."

Hey Dan,

..."arrogant ass" is putting it mildly, I would hope he embarrassed most of his fellow members of the New York Yacht Club with his shameless disregard of yachting's Corinthian spirit... My friends in Newport told me that he was pretty much universally reviled there for his actions subsequent to this accident, and refusal to accept responsibility. (AMORITA was a local boat, after all, a beloved fixture in that harbor) Seems Towbin has a bit of the Koch family's history of fraternal nastiness, he's been involved in a protracted lawsuit regarding the ownership of the family's Park Avenue townhouse with another family member, for example...

If it weren't for the fact that SUMURUN is such a beauty that herself has done nothing to deserve a caretaker so lacking in character, or that the potential for serious injury in such an accident is so great, I really wouldn't lose any sleep if this asshat got t-boned by another classic twice his size, in one of his trips to Monaco, or Antigua... (grin)

best regards,

Jon
