When I provide the Committie Boat
In Response To: I was the start boat once and was almost hit twice. ()

I hang a large orange fender from the stern on about 30 feet of line. This moves them out some. I also advise the skippers that the cannon will be fired down the line (and hint there will be a slug loaded). It seems that no one wants to be real close to a 10 gauge even with a blank.
