Seasickness is my first concern, even with daysails.

I can usually tailor route and weather in our area to limit that. And short sails are key, that's why we use the ferry services around here. The guests get to see a lot of water go by. The head is always an issue,...but we've just come off raising two kids onboard that have run a countless number of friends through the head. I can usually deal with that,.. successfully.

Games, that's a good idea for an overnight, I'd fogotten that. We keep plenty of books onboard and we and guests read at any time of the day. Photographers are especially enjoyable to take out sailing. We'll make sure there are good and interesting walks onshore where ever we go for the night.

We've taught a lot of people to row. It's easy but you'd be surprised,... They feel confident going off rowing by themselves. The truth is the day whips by so quickly it's often easier than we anticipate.

For an overnight, it's nice to find a good and sheltered spot. It's great to have a separate cabin for guests, I like to get up early and can move to the cockpit. I take for granted sleeping onboard in those conditions but enjoy having someone that has never experienced that along every now and then.
