I just did a quick look and can't find a copy handy just now. Some one brought up the docks some time back. He might know what issue of CW it was published in. I can't remember now.
But basically I opened a horizontal document in my word processor. Set up 3 columns. Got some nautical type clip art to use, then divided the info into six sections.
1. (The front) The invite with a space for writing in the names and dates.
2. A short section on what to expect. Like be flexible and do not expect an exact schedule.
3. What items would be a good idea to bring.
4. What NOT to bring, like hard sided suite cases or black sole shoes, etc....
5. A short section on Emergency info, like every one uses a PFD, NO ONE jumps, like to the dock. The only one allowed to jump is the captain, and he is restricted to jumping to conclusions. Where fire bottles are etc...
6. (The back) The map of where the boat is and how to get there.
I stopped by a stationary store and picked up some "parchment" type paper and printed out the docks.
I did find a copy of one of the "promotion" documents I gave our boys as they did better and better aboard. "It's an incentive kind of thing" - Capt. Ron
