Ouch.. Sorry to hear that.. Nothing quite so dramatic for us.

We were there a couple weeks after hurricane Irene came through the area. Apparently the water levels were at record highs after the storm and as a result the misquito populations had exploded by the time we got there. We sat and watched the sun go down and then I heard a buzzing and turned on a flashlight to discover that my wife and I were covered. We got chased below and had to listen to them buzzing against the screens all night.
